Located on the B1 floor of the Shin-Marunouchi Building, POINT ET LIGNE is a hideaway-style spot that looks like an unassuming bakery at the entrance, yet opens up in the back into a 36-table bistro. Its signature draw is the all-you-can-eat freshly baked bread, where guests can enjoy endless refills paired with several types of dips to continually switch up flavors. Free of additives and eggs, the bread is made on-site from scratch with a strong devotion to Japanese domestic wheat, as evidenced in individual creations like the chewy red bean paste-filled En Bizarre with brown sugar, the Piotr with walnuts and white raisins, and the light, gentle Legerete. The wine program is equally reassuring, with a sommelier helping select the perfect glass to complement the food and bread, and many diners note that courses including all-you-can-drink offer great value. The entirely non-smoking interior with subdued indirect lighting is ideal for girls' gatherings or birthday celebrations, with the added pleasure of picking up bread as a souvenir on your way out.
