The signature item at Le Petit Mec Hibiya is the truffle butter France bread, a French bread dough soaked with truffle salt, butter, and truffle oil. Its fragrance lingers even on the way home, and its crisp outside and chewy inside are popular. The showcase lineup is so varied it can be hard to choose, ranging from hard breads to savory breads and sweet breads, including a baguette packed with diced cheese and green olives, a macadamia and white chocolate brioche, and a Danish layering rhubarb's tartness with chocolate cream. It is a French-style boulangerie that originated in Kyoto, and this is said to be its only location in Tokyo. It operates continuously from 8:00 in the morning until night, making it convenient for breakfast before work or a short break between shopping or a show. The monotone-based interior has 42 eat-in seats, where you can relax while looking out at the Hibiya square through the glass.
