Located between Daikanyama Station and Ebisu Station, BLACOWS is run by the meat wholesaler Yazawa Meat group and specializes in gourmet burgers featuring 100% Kuroge Wagyu patties made without binders. The signature "Golden Ratio Burger" balances meat, vegetables, sauce, and buns in what is praised as a golden ratio, designed so the patty does not overpower the rest. The smash burgers pressed and grilled on the teppan griddle earn praise for their fragrant exterior and juicy interior. Custom buns ordered from Maison Kayser embrace the patty with a light crust and fluffy inside. Surrounded by houseplants and paintings, the interior has 27 entirely non-smoking seats, offering counter and sofa seating where time flows calmly. The budget averages around the ¥3,000 range for both lunch and dinner, with many diners finding it well worth the price considering the quality of the Wagyu. While lunch is the main draw, it is also well-suited for dates and meals with friends.
