Shinjuku Rambutan's signature dish is chewy pad thai made with house-made fresh noodles. A bell announces when the dish is freshly ready, and it's said to be so popular that people constantly get up from their seats when they hear the sound. The buffet, which changes daily, features over 30 dishes including green curry with rich coconut milk flavor, tom yum kung with shrimp flavor and mild spiciness, and khao man gai finished in a bamboo steamer. There's also an interactive noodle corner where you blanch pho or glass noodles yourself and combine them with your preferred soup and toppings, plus desserts like almond tofu and mango pudding. The interior has a tropical resort feel surrounded by greenery and flowers, with 170 seats that have ample spacing between them, and bar seats overlooking the night view of Shinjuku. Located directly connected by elevator from the Marunouchi Line, it's convenient for everything from girls' nights out to large banquets.
