Located just off the cobblestone streets of Kagurazaka, Le Bretagne Kagurazaka opened in 1996 and is known as Japan's first creperie. The signature dish is an authentic galette made from carefully selected 100% buckwheat flour batter, featuring crisp, aromatic edges and a soft interior, layered generously with ingredients like egg, cheese, and prosciutto. Dessert crepes offer a chewy texture paired with caramel, ice cream, or fruit, while the sparkling apple cider selection ranges from sweet (mild) to dry (spicy) and rosé. French conversation often fills the dining room, where many French staff members provide attentive, comfortable hospitality, including detailed explanations of the ciders. The warm, entirely non-smoking wooden interior includes 6 terrace seats facing the alley, making it ideal for girls' gatherings, meals with a spouse, or a restful break during a stroll through Kagurazaka.
