A 1-minute walk from the Southeast Exit of Shinjuku Station, on the 2nd floor of a building, Dancing Crab Tokyo is an experience-based restaurant serving Louisiana-style seafood that originated in Singapore, eaten by hand. The signature dish is the seafood combo bag, with crab, shrimp, shellfish, and vegetables tossed in a spicy sauce. You can choose sauces of different spice levels, and the balance of umami and spiciness is well regarded. Also on the menu are Caesar salad with cheese shaved right in front of you, crab cakes packed with crab meat, and freshly baked garlic toast. With crab-shaped headbands handed out at entry, loud music, and staff dance shows, the restaurant is filled with the excitement of a theme park. If arranged in advance, a birthday plate celebration performance is also available, making it easy to use for anniversaries, girls' nights, and group parties. All 140 seats are non-smoking, with sofa seating and barrier-free options available, and private hire for groups of 50 or more can also be arranged.
