Situated right across from Yasukuni Shrine, Factory is a takeout-only bakery committed to natural yeast and domestic wheat. Using house-cultivated yeast made from seasonal fruits and raisins, it bakes over 20 types of bread every day. The signature item is their bagel—crisp and aromatic on the outside, dense and chewy inside—offered in an array of varieties ranging from plain and chocolate to caramel nut cheddar cheese. Distinctly layered croissants and Cuban sandwiches filled with chicken and pickles are also highly popular. The welcoming display of baked goods in a space blending white walls, wood textures, and industrial elements adds to the charm, and approachable prices make it easy to visit regularly.
