QUINTOCANTO welcomes guests into a modern space styled in black and white within a corner of the Daibiru Honkan, which restores the Neo-Romanesque architecture of the Taisho era. Its foundation rests on monthly courses that reconstruct the tradition and regionality of Italian cuisine. Famous offerings include foie gras catalana with a crème brûlée-like texture, and rich spaghetti al pomodoro prepared with a sauce simmered for 8 hours. Guests can choose the pomodoro portion from 30g, 60g, or 90g. Other memorable highlights include risotto mixed with raclette cheese right before your eyes and tender, odorless roasted Ezo venison. After explaining the dishes, the chef may visit each table to present hand-drawn illustrations depicting that day's creations. Featuring 26 completely non-smoking seats including sofa seating, and offering birthday plates upon request, it is chosen as an ideal setting for anniversaries and important dinners.
