A 1-minute walk from Roppongi Station, a staircase leads down to the imposing underground space of BENJAMIN STEAK HOUSE Roppongi. Its signature dish is the T-bone steak, served bone-in. Fragrant on the outside and cooked rare to medium-rare inside, the long-aged USDA Prime beef is said to reveal more flavor with every bite. A seafood platter piled with lobster and raw oysters on ice, alongside a rich creamless spinach made without fresh cream, complete a table in true New York style. The sommelier-selected wine list is also extensive. The 144-seat interior includes private rooms for up to 10 people, sofa seating for couples, and counter seats, with the entire venue non-smoking. The restaurant can accommodate anniversary surprises, and its calm atmosphere also suits business dinners and family meals. Some say lunch is more affordable.
