Within walking distance of Kagurazaka Station, Piatti Castellina opened in 2011 with an understated presence on a backstreet in Tenjincho. The signature dish is a foie gras flan paired with Marsala sauce; this non-greasy, silky mousse-like creation is acclaimed as exquisite when spread onto focaccia. The dining progresses through seasonally rotating handmade pastas like squid ink or stewed wagyu beef, followed by fragrantly grilled Kuroge Wagyu bistecca, with the course meal (a multi-course set menu) finishing with tomato sauce spaghetti served in the portion size of your choice. Sommelier pairings curated to complement the dishes are also available, earning praise for wine selection. The high-ceilinged interior with a white motif offers 16 seats in total, all non-smoking, along with thoughtful touches for celebrations such as birthday dessert plates. It is a venue to choose for anniversaries or small-group gatherings.
