Just a few minutes' walk from Kichijoji Station, tucked quietly into a back alley, CAFE RIGOLETTO is the first restaurant of the Rigoletto group, established in 2006. Equipped with a wood-fired oven and a pasta-making room, the restaurant's signatures are Neapolitan pizza baked with an aromatic, chewy crust and thick, springy homemade fresh pasta. It is also delightful to choose Spanish and Italian dishes plate by plate, from garlic-scented ajillo, ceviche, and fritto among the ¥500 tapas, to paella that is easy to share. Guests can choose between the lively, bar-style 1st floor and the relaxed 2nd floor centered around sofa seating, with views of pizzas baking in the wood-fired oven available from the counter. The entire venue is non-smoking with a spacious 150 seats, and private hire is available for groups of 20 or more. The lunch sets, which include everything from appetizers to drinks, are also well-regarded for great value, making it suitable for a wide range of occasions from family outings and gatherings with friends to anniversary meals.
