Located just a short walk from Honjo-azumabashi Station with views of Tokyo Skytree, NIDAIME NOGUCHI SENGYO TEN Kinshicho PARCO is a downtown seafood diner run directly by a tuna wholesaler. Its signature Asaichi Tsukiji Don is so piled with tuna, red shrimp, salmon roe, and seared scallops that they spill over the bowl, drawing lines even before opening time. Many diners also note that the wholesaler ara-jiru (fish-head soup), served in a bowl just as large as the rice bowl and packed with crab and fish meat, is well worth the extra order. The fishmonger's fried seafood set meal (teishoku), featuring plump oysters and horse mackerel in a thick crispy batter, is deeply satisfying and feels like an exceptional bargain considering the volume and quality. The interior, lined with fish tanks and wooden crates, conveys the lively buzz of a fish market, where tourists and locals mingle across 7 counter seats and table seats.
