Situated on the 2nd floor of the New Chitose Airport domestic terminal building, Bieisenka New Chitose Airport Store is a bakery and specialty shop highlighting ingredients from Biei. The signature offering is the famous corn bread, baked without water or sugar, using only the moisture and natural sweetness of sweet corn, renowned for its rich sweetness and generous filling of corn kernels. The mame pan (bean bread), baked only once each morning, is popular enough to be called "legendary," with a purchase limit of two boxes per customer enhancing its rarity. Numbered queue tickets are distributed for each baking time, and the sweet aroma of corn fills the shop floor. Items such as rusks made with Biei wheat and butter as well as jams are also available, making it the perfect stop for souvenir shopping at the end of a Hokkaido trip. The entire premises are non-smoking and barrier-free, and operating hours from 08:00 to 19:00 make it easy to visit before or after flights.
