Jukuseiniku Senmonten Yopu no Obuta Shioyaki Shin-Okubo Main Shop is known for its signature thick-cut samgyeopsal made with brand pork from Iwate Prefecture, aged in a dedicated aging room for 14 days. Staff monitor the iron plate temperature and cooking level while grilling right before your eyes, cutting the meat into bite-sized pieces so that even first-timers will not miss out on a savory, juicy piece. The standard way to enjoy it is wrapped in free-refill sanchu lettuce with Andean natural salt. Adding several types of chijimi (Korean pancakes) such as cheese or truffle, along with spicy sundubu or seafood jjigae, will instantly liven up your table. Despite being a large venue with 120 seats across the 1st to 3rd floors, it is bustling enough to draw lines on weekends, and the bright, spacious dining areas are well-suited for meals among friends. Couple seats and terrace seats are also available, and private hire is possible for groups of 25 or more.
