Cucina Italiana Aria Roppongi, known for its homemade fresh pasta made with special flour, is a hidden Italian restaurant tucked away in a back alley just a short walk from Roppongi Station. Its original fresh noodles, such as bigoli, have a strong, chewy texture, and signature pasta dishes like black truffle carbonara and cream sauce with sea urchin and salmon roe are popular. The menu also includes seafood and meat dishes such as aglio e olio with aged red sea bream and karasumi, and thickly cut yet tender beef harami steak. Antique-style furniture and subdued lighting create a sophisticated atmosphere, and the fully non-smoking restaurant offers 36 seats including counter seats, sofa seats, and terrace seats. A private room is available for groups of four or more, and the restaurant can accommodate anniversary surprises with a dessert featuring a written message.
