Just a short walk from Nakada Station, Yukiguni is a miso ramen specialty shop housed in a detached building in a residential neighborhood. Having trained at a renowned shop in Myoko, Niigata, the owner serves deeply rich miso ramen combining Myoko miso with broths brewed separately from chicken, pork, and seafood, layered with the punch and sweetness of onions and garlic. The menu offers a wide variety, ranging from spicy miso with Japanese sansho pepper and spicy beef curry ramen with beef tendon to seasonal specials using oysters and sweet shrimp. An assorted chashu platter featuring hang-roasted pork, loin, and more is also popular. Although it is a popular spot that attracts lines before opening, guests appreciate the waiting room where they can sit and wait, as well as attentive updates on waiting times.
