Standing as a standalone building in Yokokura, Oyama City, where visiting drivers never cease, YOKOKURA STOREHOUSE's signature dish is kombu water tsukemen. The firm, chewy noodles are smoothly coated in kombu water, accompanied by a sharp soy sauce tare rich with the savory umami of chicken and pork, alongside a pleasantly clear chicken dashi salt broth that also enjoys great popularity. Following the guidance on the table, starting with just the noodles, adding seaweed salt, dipping into the broth, and finishing with kombu water dilution allows you to enjoy how the dish repeatedly shifts its character within a single bowl.
