Located on the 2nd floor of a building just a few minutes' walk from Akihabara Station, Spice Palette is a spice curry shop opened in 2019 by an owner who spent years touring curry spots. The signature is a dual curry served on a single plate featuring mild, chunky chicken curry and richly savory keema, each offering distinct expressions whether enjoyed separately or combined. The house style is to blend in the 3 accompanying side dishes like paints—sweet and sour carrots, savory-spicy onions, and bitter melon with a gradual spicy kick—little by little to shape your own personal taste, with the owner kindly guiding you on how to eat it. The pre-meal spice soup, fragrant with tomato and ginger, is well-loved for warming you from the inside out. The bright interior, centered on wood and white tones, consists mainly of counter seats and is decorated with playful items characteristic of Akihabara, making it easy for solo diners to drop by casually. In the evening, spiced bar bites and cocktails are also available, making it a great stop for a quick drink after work.
