Just steps from the Showa-dori exit of Akihabara Station, Takejin Menya Musashi's signature menu item is a thick and rich dipping broth layering pork bone and seafood flavors. You can choose the richness level, with the fun of challenging the even richer "Shinken Nokou" option, and the soup can be refilled once for free, which is well received for keeping the richness going until the last bite. The signature "Takejin Niku" is a thick simmered pork belly-style chashu exceeding 100g, notable for its tenderness that falls apart with chopsticks and its sweet-and-savory seasoning. The noodles can be increased significantly at no extra charge, making it reliable on days you want to eat a lot. Seasonal limited-time tsukemen sometimes appear, and the dimly lit interior with indirect lighting is said by some to have a theater-like coolness. With only 19 counter seats and non-smoking throughout, it's an easy place to visit alone.
