Just a short walk from Meguro Station down to the building's basement, you will find SPICECURRY KERAKU's bright, cafe-like space. Built around a core chicken curry boasting the rich sweetness of sautéed onions and fragrant spices, the rotating weekly menu offers choices such as rich seafood dashi curry, clam and pork keema, or coconut milk-simmered beef, served together as 2 to 3-curry combos. Onion and okra achaar provide refreshing acidity and sweetness between bites, making it a delight to mix everything together as the flavors evolve. Another celebrated dish is the salted lemon keema made with Japanese Black Wagyu tongue sourced from a hard-to-book yakiniku restaurant. Supervised by a popular restaurant in Yoyogi-Uehara, its healthy dishes packed with spices and vegetables enjoy broad acclaim. With 14 seats in total including 4 counter seats and an entirely non-smoking interior, it is an easy spot to drop by for a solo lunch.
