Known for its thick-cut, exceptionally fresh sashimi platters, Dainichikara Shuzo is a standalone izakaya just a short walk from Nakano Station's north exit. Fresh seafood arriving daily from Toyosu lines the display case, offering sashimi with seasonal selections like tuna and sea bream on daily rotation, thick-cut shellfish sashimi platters with small abalone and red clam, and fragrant tempura platters featuring whiting and conger eel—allowing guests to enjoy the same seafood prepared in diverse ways. Sweet and savory simmered tofu cooked in fish broth and Toyama Bay fried glass shrimp are staples that pair perfectly with sake and shochu.
