Branched from a long-established Kyoto Chuka soba restaurant, Shinpukusaikan Hamamatsucho enjoys a convenient location just a short walk from Daimon Station. The signature Chuka soba makes an impression with its pitch-black soy sauce broth; contrary to its appearance, it is not overly salty, offering a mellow flavor filled with richness and sweetness that clings nicely to the straight noodles, prompting many guests to drink it down to the last drop. Its partner dish, the fried rice, is also prepared jet-black from absorbing the soy sauce tare, leaving a lingering savory aroma packed with a peppery punch.
