Harmonizing a Western-style entrance with an atmospheric Kyoto machiya extending deep into the interior, Zesekan Potchiri is a Chinese restaurant housed in a restored historic building formerly owned by a kimono merchant. From the windows and corridors inside, you can overlook a beautifully maintained courtyard garden, creating a nostalgic and extraordinary atmosphere unique to Kyoto. The signature shark fin dishes are served in piping-hot clay pot rice or as whole braised fin, winning high praise for their rich, deeply flavorful sauce.
