  • Ideal for business dinners and special banquets

  • Counter seats overlooking master craftsmanship

Located in a basement away from the bustle of the backstreets of Omotesando, Japanese Cuisine Tagetsu serves authentic kaiseki cuisine that straightforwardly draws out Japan's four seasons and the natural appeal of seasonal ingredients. The signature owan soup bowl, meticulously brewed with freshly shaved bonito flakes and cold-extracted kombu into a clear ichiban dashi (Japanese soup stock), delivers a gentle umami flavor that spreads with every sip. The menu features exquisite dishes showing master craftsmanship, such as salt-broiled sweetfish slowly grilled over charcoal until fragrant to the bone, and colorful hassun appetizers depicting seasonal landscapes. The freshly cooked seasonal donabe clay-pot rice is also well-received for the warm hospitality of packing any leftover portions into onigiri rice balls for guests to take home. In addition to immersive counter seats, the restaurant also features comfortable private rooms, making it ideal for special occasions such as anniversary celebrations and important business dinners.
