On the 6th floor of Ginza Hakuhinkan, just past the elevator, you'll find Khan Kebab Biryani. The restaurant's namesake dish, biryani, features long-grain basmati rice infused with dozens of spices, delivering layers of aroma and spiciness in a single plate. You can choose chicken, lamb, mutton, or vegetables, and the dish is generously loaded with bone-in meat. The restaurant is said to use over 30 kinds of whole spices, giving the biryani its signature gradation of heat that builds gradually. On weekdays, a curry lunch where you can choose your favorite 3 types is popular, and they can adjust the spice level to your preference; raita and rasam are served alongside the spicy biryani as palate cleansers. The interior has a calm, understated elegance, and window seats offer views through the gaps between buildings. With 90 seats in total, the restaurant is also available for private hire, making it suitable for banquets centered around an all-you-can-drink course.
