The centerpiece of MEN Cry is its 100% domestic wheat in-house handmade noodles, combining Iwate-grown Mochihime with Haru yo Koi and Kitahonami. Their udon-like, extra-thick, and springy texture is widely loved as a unique characteristic rarely found elsewhere. The relatively light shoyu broth, layered with chicken, pork, and seafood dashi (Japanese soup stock), clings well to the thick noodles, and the special version topped with chashu, wontons, and seasoned egg has earned high praise for the quality of its ingredients. The shop also offers abura soba, whose sweet and savory sauce brings out the wheat's natural sweetness as you chew, dipping noodles, and seasonal specials such as winter nabeyaki miso ramen, offering new discoveries with each visit. The interior consists of an 11-seat counter and is entirely non-smoking, making it welcoming for solo diners. As the second brand from Kitashinagawa's Chuka Soba Waka TOKYO, this Hamamatsucho and Daimon area spot often sees queues during lunchtime.
