Horumon Aoki Kameido is a casual yakiniku restaurant located just steps from the North Exit of Kameido Station, long loved in an area packed with offal eateries. Grilled slowly over binchotan charcoal prepared on tabletop shichirin grills, the offal has no gaminess, boasting a plump exterior and a sweet fattiness that spreads with every bite. The bouncy shimacho, large diced liver, and thick-cut beef tongue are especially popular. Rare cuts such as maboroshi no shibire (sweetbread) and daichan are also on offer, making it an enjoyable spot for groups to sample and compare different cuts together.
