A few minutes' walk from Ebisu Station, coci occupies a two-story wooden standalone house along the Shibuya River. Its signature is original cuisine that combines French technique with Japanese fermentation culture and elements of Thai cuisine, offering dishes fragrant with herbs and spices, such as a chilled potage concentrated with seasonal corn, gently cooked poached Daisen chicken, and homemade pad thai using taochiao sauce. The restaurant is known for offering courses with many dishes at reasonable prices, and weekday lunches are said to be especially good value. The interior, arranged with wooden beams and earth tones, has subdued lighting, and at night the illuminated riverside view creates a romantic atmosphere.
