Located just a short walk from JR Osaki Station on the 1st floor of Osaki Wiz City, Rokurinsha Osaki stands on the grounds celebrated as the birthplace of tsukemen. The signature tsukemen combines the chewy texture of extra-thick curly noodles custom-made by Asakusa Kaikarou with a rich yet balanced dipping broth made from pork and chicken bones layered with seafood like dried baby sardines and dried mackerel flakes, where blending in the fish powder and nori seaweed further enhances the aroma. The special tsukemen topped with shredded pork and seasoned boiled egg, as well as the fresh shichimi tsukemen with refreshing spiciness, are also popular, while chuka soba is an option for those not fond of fish powder. Plenty of tabletop seasoning options like fish powder, black shichimi, and yuzu powder allow for changing up flavors, and you can finish off your meal with soup-wari (diluting the dipping broth).
