Frying tempura for half a century since its founding in 1973, Mitsumura continues its craft in a standalone shop near Shimizu Station in Kita Ward, Nagoya City. Its signature dish is the kakiage-don, featuring thick fritters packed with plump shrimp coated in a sweet and savory sauce, attracting lines of diners before opening eager for the fragrant aroma of sesame oil and crisp, fresh-fried crunch.
