Located on the first floor of Hillside at Roppongi Hills, Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant Roppongi Hills is a xiaolongbao specialty restaurant carrying on a history of over 100 years that began in Shanghai. Its signature pork xiaolongbao releases hot, flavor-packed soup when you break the skin, traditionally enjoyed with ginger and black vinegar. The variety is rich, ranging from shrimp-filled to seasonal Shanghai hairy crab roe, along with chewy glutinous rice shumai, soy-flavored dried radish strips soaked in flavor, and shrimp-topped salted noodle soup, all available in small portions. The lunch set, which includes xiaolongbao, noodles, dim sum, and dessert, is known for offering great value thanks to its many dishes, and the speed of service – with steamer baskets arriving within minutes – adds to the appeal. The modern, clean interior has 56 seats total between table and sofa seating, all non-smoking, making it easy to use for gatherings with family or friends.
