Known for its bold daytime concept of offering just a single, weekly changing clay pot rice dish, Kurokonekoyoru Akasaka is located on the 3rd floor of a multi-tenant building near Akasakamitsuke Station. There is no need to order; soon after sitting down, a piping-hot clay pot with fragrant scorched rice is served alongside salad and soup, earning high praise for its satisfying quality. At night, the venue transforms into a lively tavern serving regional Chinese specialties rarely found in Japan, such as stir-fried duck tongues, Chinese sausages, and frog, alongside authentic staples like Sansho pepper-spiced mapo tofu and black vinegar sweet and sour pork.
