Located on the 5th floor of KITTE overlooking the Tokyo Station Marunouchi building, Obanzai, Aburiyaki, Sake Nana KITTE Marunouchi offers a view of the illuminated red-brick station building below at night. The specialty is Kyoto-style obanzai, served in small side dish (kobachi) style where you can choose 3 or 5 varieties according to your taste. Combinations with refined, gentle seasonings, such as persimmon and walnut salad or king oyster mushrooms with spicy cod roe and grated daikon radish, are well received. The springy homemade tofu and creamy yuba sashimi are also popular, and finishing the meal with dashi (Japanese soup stock)-infused clay pot rice or ochazuke pairs well with sake. The high-ceilinged, modern Japanese interior features a spacious 249 seats, equipped with tatami seating (zashiki), horigotatsu (sunken table seating), and private rooms accommodating 5 to 60 guests. Banquet course meal — A multi-course set menus with all-you-can-drink are appreciated as great value for a prime Marunouchi location. All seats are non-smoking, lunch can be enjoyed from the ¥1,000 range, and because lines sometimes form right after opening, making a reservation before visiting is recommended.
