Flooded with natural light through expansive windows, La Precieuse Kioicho is a patisserie and cafe located on the 4th floor of Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho, directly connected to Nagatacho Station. Offering 38 seats including the terrace with views of the gardens and the former Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka Classic House, it provides a relaxing space to linger at a time when many dessert shops focus mainly on takeout. The Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc—made by simmering Kumamoto chestnuts with only sugar—is renowned for the harmony of its rich flavor and light cream, while the Matcha Opera layered with green tea and Dainagon azuki beans and the liquor-scented caneles are also popular. The afternoon tea served with 2 drinks features tiers of macarons and generously filled croissant sandwiches, earning praise as great value alongside cake sets priced in the ¥1,000 range.
