ToshiYoroizuka TOKYO is a patisserie and cafe spanning the 1st and 2nd floors of Kyobashi Edogrand, well known as an establishment led by famed pastry chef Toshihiko Yoroizuka. The 2nd-floor dessert salon features just 18 counter seats, where course-style live desserts assembled one by one on the plate right before you enjoy great acclaim; the artistic designs using pistachio and chocolate are thrilling just to look at. The 1st floor is a casual self-service cafe where you receive a numbered ticket, popular for croque monsieur made with thick bread soaked in béchamel sauce and cream puffs filled to order. Browsing the showcase is an enjoyable experience in itself, filled with creations such as Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc shaped like a mountain and desserts layered with seasonal fruits. Accented with blue lighting, the glass-walled black-and-white space is entirely non-smoking. Directly connected to Kyobashi Station with takeout available, it is ideal for taking a break during a stroll or finding souvenirs.
