Tucked into a corner about a 1-minute walk from Nakameguro Station, Cliolo Nakameguro is a takeout-only patisserie supervised by a chef from France. Its small showcase displays petits gateaux lined up like works of art, headlined by the elusive cheesecake with a feather-light texture that is rich yet never heavy. Also on display are pieces highly praised at world competitions, such as Gaïa, which contrasts a pudding-like texture on top with a crunchy base, and Nirvana, where chocolate and the tartness of blackberry resonate together.
