- 「街のロースタリーから世界へ」 2016年に東京・蔵前でブランドがスタート。2019年より焙煎業を始め、現在はProbat UG-15とGiesen W6Aの2台を稼働させている。 焙煎業務に集中するため週に3日しかオープンしないロースタリーでは、素材のポテンシャルを最大限に活かし、酸と甘さのバランスが心地良く感じられるクリーンなコーヒーを提供している。 ブランド名の”LEAVES”には、役目を終えた葉が枝から落ちて新しい葉の養分になるように、常に新しいことに挑戦しながら成長し続けたいという想いが込められている。 コーヒーを通して日常の中に非日常体験を届け、地球環境や人々の健康を豊かにする取り組みを目指している。 “From a town roastery, to the world.” Established in 2016, near the heart of traditional town Asakusa, Kuramae is now well-liked by not only coffee lovers but also craftsmen. Our roastery’s journey has begun in 2019 since the owner & founder of LCR, Yasuo Ishii, have had great desire of becoming the world roasting champion in the early stages. His commitment to quality started finding a good roaster. He realised there was a certain affinity to the taste when trying countless coffee from everywhere in the world, that was the fact they all use the roaster from Probat and most of them were vintage ones. At the moment, he owns Probat UG-15 from the 50's, Giesen W6A for production roast. In order to focus on the roasting, we open on weekends, Mondays, and holidays. We aim to bring you the best of each origin, which gives the bean its own figure - clean, well balanced, beautiful aroma and sweetness. The meaning of the brand name “LEAVES” is to challenge new and learn from it like the fallen leaves become nutrients for the new leaves.
